White Oak Pegs Crafted in Lancaster County Since 2012

Product Description:
- Our premium timber-frame pegs are expertly made in Lancaster County, PA.
- They are made with kiln-dried North American White Oak, a rustic hardwood known for durability, resilience, and longevity. These pegs are sanded to a smooth, natural finish, showcasing the light, rustic beauty of the wood—no coatings, no additives, just pure quality.
- Its high density ensures remarkable strength, making it capable of holding together houses, cabins, barns, gristmills, and more.
- It repels water, giving it superior resistance to rot, decay, and the harshest weather conditions.
- These pegs create a strong, secure hold designed to last for decades. However, if the lumber dries excessively over time, slight adjustments may be necessary to maintain a tight fit.
- Each peg is crafted to a standard size of 31/32” diameter (+/- 1/64”) to fit snugly in a 1” hole with a length of 12”.
- The ends are tapered and flat, ensuring easy insertion and a secure fit. The taper is approximately 1-1/4” long, with a 5/8” diameter at the point for precision in every joint.
Note: If using a WoodOwl bit, pegs may not fit as tightly as a standard drill bit.
